Annual Dinner Dance and Presentation

Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC & St.Brenda’s Camogie Club held their Annual Dinner Dance and Presentation on Saturday night in the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblaney with over 200 Gaels in attendance. Pride of place on the night were our Under 16 and Under 18 teams who collected their League and Championship medals. County Board representative Paul McArdle presented the cup and medals to:

 

Under 16 League Division II winners: Conor McGivern (Captain), Ryan Beagan, Shaun Casey, Ciaran Connelly, Oisin Fearon, Michael Gribben, Kieran Hughes, Lee Hughes, Brendan Kennedy, Stephen King, Conor Leonard, Conor Mackin, Gary Mackin, Finnian Maguire, Tiernan McArdle, Josh McGeown, Stephen McGuigan, Michael O’Hare, Cormac McKee, Ryan McKenna, Dara McKinney, Ryan Murphy, Fergal Nugent, Eoin Smith, Aodhan Toner.

 

Under 18 Division II League and Championship winners: Paudi Crilly (Capt), Conor McGivern, Joseph Kennedy, John McManus, Barry Livingstone, Niall Cosgrove, Aodhan Toner, Conor Murdoch, Kieran Hughes, Shane McCone, Jack Grugan, Fintan Connolly, Oisin Fearon, Conor Leonard, Brian McClelland, Brendan Toner, Patrick Watters, Rory Gray, Cathal Hughes, Colm McKee.

 

Individual winners on the night were:

 

  • Most Improved U-16 Player of the Year Aodhan Toner
  • EJ Martin Memorial Cup for U-16 Player of the Year Conor McGivern & Kieran Hughes
  • Most Improved U-18 Player of the Year Barry Livingstone
  • U-18 Player of the Year Brian McClelland & Paudi Crilly
  • Caomh McCarthy Perpetual Cup for Reserve Player of the Year Gareth Watters
  • Presentation of the James Gray Memorial Cup for Senior Player of the Year Pauric Gribben
  • Presentation of the Tommy O’Hare Memorial Cup for Club person of the Year Seamus Loughran & Kevin Smyth
  • A special appreciation award was made to Declan McClelland for all his hard work and assistance he gave with the minors this year.

 

There were also special presentations made to out going senior management team of Seamus Loughran, Declan Mussen and Kevin Smyth and to senior team sponsor Colin McKee on behalf of Moss Construction.

 

Limelite provided the musical entertainment as the Nab Gaels partied to the early hours.
