The County PR/IT committee is currently developing a new concept for the county and possibly a first for the GAA. The idea is to ask supporters to bring items of historical importance to the GAA in Armagh for display as part of Culture night on 21 September a 9.30 p.m. Individuals will be photographed with their items and have them documented so that a similar display can be mounted for various events in the county in the future. Our initial research indicates that there is enthusiasm for this project and we envisage items that date back to the foundation of the organisation coming to the surface for the first time in years. This display will be made available to the public on Saturday 22 September between 12 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. Any club members who have club or county memorabilia and would like it to be displayed along with other club ideas should contact Brendan Maguire or Nelius Boyle.
