Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 12/01/2015


The Draw for the Senior Championship was made on Monday night and we shall face Dromintee in Round 1. Dates and venues tbc. Draw in Full


Anyone who wishes to assist with the running of any of the Underage teams should contact Michael Beagan.


The Annual General Meeting will be held in the Clubrooms on Sunday 25 January. All members and new members are invited to attend. This is the most important meeting of the year and gives everyone the opportunity to voice their opinions on all aspects of the Club. Much help is required in various areas within the Club. Everyone can play their part. Please make the effort to attend. Nomination/Motion forms can be Downloaded via the Website


W/c 12/01/15 Lucky numbers were 1-3-6-26. No winner. 1 match 3 numbers: Deirdre Fearon. Next Draw – Monday 19/01/15 JACKPOT £3,500 (Rota: N.Boyle & M.McGuigan). Tickets available to buy or sell from any committee member or to play every week and pay by Direct Debit contact Kevin Gribben for a Direct Debit form. If you would like to help in the promotion of the Lotto contact any Committee member.


The monthly Draw for January was made last week and the winners were:

DVDs of the Ballymacnab Strictly Come Dancing Fundraiser can be ordered through John Grugan, priced £5.


The Club is participating in the National Club Draw. Tickets available from all Committee members, priced £10. Monies for each ticket purchased go directly back into the Club. Details of prizes via GAA Website.



The Senior Presentation will be held in Sheils on Saturday 21 February, Music by Just 2. Details of ticket distribution to follow.


Jiving classes resume in the hall on Tuesday 13 January @ 8pm.

Crochet class in Ballymacnab Hall on a Wednesday nights starting back on Wednesday 14th Jan 7.30pm - 90.30pm. Beginners very welcome

Learn to Céilí dance on a Thursday night in Ballymacnab Hall 8.30pm - 10pm Everyone welcome

All the various group leaders in the area are invited to a meeting in the Hall portacabin on this Thursday 15 @ 8pm where advice will be given on how to obtain funding for various projects.
