Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 12/10/2015

RESERVES

Congratulations to our Reserve players and management on their 0-13 to 0-09 win over Clan na Gael in the League Final last Sunday. This has been an excellent year for our Reserves in winning the League & Championship. Well done all!

UNDER 21

The Under 21 Round Robin Championship for us will commence on Sunday when we travel to Wolfe Tones. The game has a 2pm throw in time. Training for the squad on Friday @ 730pm.

UNDERAGE

The Under 8, 10s and 12s are having an end of year trip to Croke Park on Saturday. All those attending to be at Ballymacnab field for 930am. Children will be doing the stadium tour, and get an opportunity to get pictures with the Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy Cups. They will also get food provided but would be advisable to take a light lunch as well. All to wear Club tops. The cost for the day is £15 and anyone who has still to confirm attendance should contact Michael Beagan ASAP. 

Well done to Daniel O’Toole who represented the Club and Foley PS at the Half Time games at Sundays Co.Final

LUCKY NUMBERS

W/c 12/10/15 Lucky numbers were 4-13-20-24. No winner. 2 match 3 numbers: Malachy Hughes, Neil McKee. Next Draw – Monday 19/10/15 JACKPOT £7,400 (Rota: BMaguire & TSmyth). Tickets available to buy or sell from any committee member or to play every week and pay by Direct Debit contact Kevin Gribben for a Direct Debit form.

The Lotto still provides a valuable income into the running of the Club. Recently we have lost a number of our regular sellers and in order to continue with this income we require much help. Anyone who can assist please contact any Committee Member.

NATIONAL DRAW

The Club is participating in the National Club Draw. Tickets available from all Committee members next week, priced £10. Monies for each ticket purchased go directly back into the Club. Details of prizes via GAA Website.

AGM

The AGM is to be held on Thursday 12 November @ 730pm.

SCHOOL AID ROMANIA

Eimear Smyth & Rioghnach McArdle are hosting a coffee morning in Ballymacnab Hall on Sunday 25 October 930am to 1pm. All proceeds to School Aid Romania. Your support will be greatly appreciated
