Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 20/04/2014

SENIOR: The Seniors had a 1-19 to 0-12 win over Tir na nOg on Saturday evening. Next game: Sunday 27 April Away to Sarsfields @ 2pm.

RESERVES: The Reserves won their first league game on Wednesday pass with a 3-13 to 2-12 win over Silverbridge. Next game: Wednesday 24 April Home to Grange @ 7pm.

UNDER 18: The Under 18s lost to St.Peter’s 2-14 to 1-11 last Monday in the League. Next game: Monday 21 April Home to Middletown @ 7pm.

UNDER 16: The Under 16s lost to Clann Eireann II 3-10 to 3-08 last Thursday in the League. Next game: Thursday 25 April Home to An Port Mor @ 7pm.

UNDER 12 1/2: Training on Tuesday @ 630pm. First League game on Saturday 26 April away to Derrynoose @ 4pm

UNDER 10: First Go Game on Sunday 27 April away to Middletown @ 11am

UNDER 8 & 6s: Training in the field to commence next weekend. Date and time tbc.

LUCKY NUMBERS: Next Draw to take place on Monday 21 April. All sellers are asked to make their returns to O’Tooles Bar by 9pm. JACKPOT £3,000. Tickets available to buy or sell from any committee member or to play every week and pay by Direct Debit contact Kevin Gribben for a Direct Debit form. GAELTACHT PART SCHOLARSHIP: The Annual Feis CLG Ard Mhacha for Gaeltacht part-scholarships will be held on Monday 28 April at 7pm in the Ceannáras at the Athletic Grounds. Young people from clubs across the county will have an opportunity to win a part-scholarship to attend a Gaeltacht course during the summer. Students from the Club who would like to be considered for Feis CLG Ard Mhacha can download from the Downloads Section, complete, scan and return to or leave in to the office in the Ceannáras. Closing date for submission of forms is Wednesday 23 April. Forms must be signed by club secretary, Nelius Boyle.

DEREK RYAN CONCERT: Derek Ryan shall play a Live concert in the Athletic Grounds on Saturday 31 May. Each club in the County has been given 20 tickets to sell before they go on general release. Tickets are priced at £20 and anyone who wishes to purchase a ticket should contact Nelius Boyle.
