Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 25/05/2015


Unfortunately our game with Crossmaglen was not completed last week due to circumstances beyond our control. At this stage it is unknown of the outcome. Next game: Sunday 31 at home v Forkhill @ 2pm


The Reserves lost 3-15 to 0-13 to Harps last week. Next game: Wednesday 27 at home to Mullaghbawn @ 730pm


The Leagues now take a break for exams and resume on Monday 15 June.

The Under 14s lost 2-12 to 2-06 in the League last week and bowed out of the Championship at the hands of Carrickcruppen. Next game in the League on Tuesday 2 June against Madden in Newtown @ 730pm.

UNDER 12.5

The Under12.5s had a win last week over Tullysaran. Training on Wednesday 6-715pm. The squad shall be taking part in a Tournament on Saturday in Newry. Michael will be in contact with parent with details.

UNDER 6/8/10s

The Under 6, 8 and 10s enjoyed games on Sunday against Tullysaran. The Under 10s shall play Keady away on Sunday @ 11am. Training this weekend for Under 6 and 8s to be confirmed.


W/c 25/05/15 Lucky numbers were 7-20-28-32. No winner. No match 3 numbers. Bonus: Stephen King. Next Draw – Monday 01/06/15 JACKPOT £5,400 (Rota: NBoyle & MMcGuigan). The new draw is due to commence on 8 June and anyone who wishes to join should contact any committee member.


Anyone who would be interested in participating in a First Aid course with a view of assisting one of the clubs teams on match day are asked to contact Kevin Gribben (07801108265). Anyone who already has a First Aid Certificate and would like to assist with one of the Clubs teams, please contact any committee member.


To celebrate the re-opening of Ballymacnab chapel on Sunday the 7th of June a parade will take place from McKenna’s Cross Roads at 2pm to the chapel. All clubs in the parish will be represented in the parade. It is hoped that we can get as many adult members in the parade as possible. Can people please let Nelius Boyle or Brendan McCone know if they are able to attend.
