Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 28/09/2015


Unfortunately our seniors exited out of the Championship on Sunday evening with a gallant performance against Harps


The League final against Clan na Gael is provincially fixed for Sunday 11 October in the Athletic Grounds, prior to the County Final.


The Under 21 Round Robin Championship is due to commence in the coming weeks. Management will be in contact with all eligible players for training commencement this weekend.


The Club will be hosting an U12 blitz this weekend from 10am.


W/c 28/09/15 Lucky numbers were 13-19-23-27. No winner. 2 match 3 numbers: Fergal O’Hare, Nuala Hegarty. Next Draw – Monday 05/10/15 JACKPOT £7,200 (Rota: NMcKee & MFlynn). Tickets available to buy or sell from any committee member or to play every week and pay by Direct Debit contact Kevin Gribben for a Direct Debit form.

The Lotto still provides a valuable income into the running of the Club. Recently we have lost a number of our regular sellers and in order to continue with this income we require much help. To assist this a meeting to discuss lotto promotion/sales will be held on Thursday 8th October at 8pm in the Clubrooms. All welcome!


Next Draw – 5 October. Promoters to make returns by then.


Ballymacnab Hall is having their 'Clans & Townlands' table quiz on Friday 9th October at 8.30pm in Ballymacnab Hall. (Note change in date) (Maximum of 6 players per table - £5 per person). This is our 3rd year for the quiz and no doubt Brendan & Rita Gribben will be defending their Clans & Townlands Title & Cup.  We encourage Families/Neighbours/Local drama group etc  to take part in this great night out. Céilí dancing class in Ballymacnab Hall on Thursday nights 8.30pm -10pm. Everyone welcome


Dam Busters 5km walk/fun run is happening this Sunday 4th October at 1pm. Starts at Seagahan Dam car park. Suggested donation is just £5 per adult and £1 per child. Please spread the word
