Ballymacnab Round Towers GFC Weekly Newsletter – 02/11/2015


The Under 21s qualified to the Semi Final of the Intermediate Championship after a 2-11 to 2-08 win over Carrickcruppen on Sunday. In the Semi Final they shall meet Clann Eireann on Sunday @ 315pm in Clonmore. Please note new throw in time due to Clann Eireanns participation in the Ulster Under 16 Championship on Sunday also.


W/c 02/11/15 Lucky numbers were 1-3-16-23. No winner. No match 3 numbers. Bonus – Maggie O’Hare. Next Draw – Monday 09/11/15 JACKPOT £7,700 (Rota: NBoyle & MMcGuigan). Tickets available to buy or sell from any committee member or to play every week and pay by Direct Debit contact Kevin Gribben for a Direct Debit form.

The Lotto still provides a valuable income into the running of the Club. Recently we have lost a number of our regular sellers and in order to continue with this income we require much help. Anyone who can assist please contact any Committee Member.


The Club is participating in the National Club Draw. Tickets available from all Committee members, priced £10. Monies for each ticket purchased go directly back into the Club. Details of prizes via GAA Website.


The monthly Draw took place in the Clubrooms on Monday night and the winners were:

£500: Brian McCone

4x£100: Marie McManus, Gerard Byrne, Susan Black, Eamon McArdle


Semi Final of Scór na n-óg is in Clann Eireann this Sunday 8 November commencing 6pm. Club will be represented by Tiarnán Annie and Aoife Smyth in the Traditional Music section. Some support from Club would be appreciated.


  • AGM on Thursday 12 November @ 730pm. 
  • Mass for deceased players and members of the football and camogie clubs on Saturday 21 November @ 730pm.
  • Football and camogie Senior Presentation on Friday 4 December in the Community Hall


Armagh have a new Main sponsor and a new style of jerseys, T-shirts etc will be launched within the next week, so anyone who was thinking of buying Armagh merchandise for Christmas might be best waiting until after this launch.
