SENIOR Our Senior continued their good start to the season with a hard fought win over Culloville on Friday at Home, winning 0-12 to 1-07. Next game – Friday 9 June Whitecross (Away), throw in @8pm
RESERVES Well done to the Reserve who have qualified to the Quarter Finals of the Championship after accounting for Mullaghbawn last week, 1-09 to 0-07. Aodhan Toner grabbing the goal. Draw for Next Round TBA. They are back to League action on Wednesday with a Home tie against Dromintee @8pm.
UNDER 18 The Under 18s had no game last week due to the exam break. League action returns next Monday with an Away tie to Naomh Eoin @730pm.
UNDER 16 No league game this week due to the exam break. Challenge match v Pearse Og in Newtown @730pm
UNDER 14 The Under 14s had a 4-10 to 2-08 over Sarsfields in the League last week. They have a challenge game v O’Doirnin Blues in Newtown @ 730pm
UNDER 12.5 The Under 12.5s will play An Port Mor at Home on Saturday @230pm.
UNDER 10 Training on Wednesday @630pm and will play Clady (Away) on Sunday @12 Noon
UNDER 8 Play Clady (Away) on Sunday @12 Noon
UNDER 6 Play Clady (Away) on Sunday @12 Noon
SUMMER CAMP The Annual Summer Camp will be held on 21-23 August. The Camp is for boys and girls from P3 (September 17) to current Under 16 players. The cost of the camp is £20 per child, £15 2nd/3rd child etc up to a max of £50 per family. Registration forms available via the Website or Team Coaches. MONTHLY DRAW The New Monthly Draw will commence on Tuesday 6 June. This is an invaluable income to the running cost of the Club. Cash prizes on offer every month. Subscription £20 a month. One off ‘Early Bird’ Draw prize for anyone who pays in full on the night. To renew or join, contact any Committee Member. Payment can also be made by Direct Debit, on request.
COUCH 2 5K The Couch 2 5k has now reached Week 7 (W/c 05/06). There is still an opportunity to join as all abilities catered for. The sessions run on Tuesday and Thursdays, 630-7pm and Sundays 10-1030am, within the Club Grounds. (Please park cars in the Church car park on Tuesday & Thursdays so to avoid congestion at Club car park) £1 per run. This is a fantastic initiative which gives people of all ages, both male and female, to get out, get some exercise, enjoy the spring air while supporting the club! Run/walk/jog, whatever suits your ability.
The training is building up to a big 5k event will take place on Saturday 24 June. £10 enter to this 5k run open to ALL new and experienced runners. Updates via the Club Facebook page. BARN DANCE The Club are running a Barn Dance and BBQ in the Hall on Saturday 24 June. Admission £10 at the door, Music by ‘Limelite’. Tickets available from Committee Members.
ST.BRENDA’S CAMOGIE CLUB Under 6 - Training Saturday 11 -12noon.
Under 8 and 10 - Training on Thursday at 6.30 - 7.45pm at the pitch. Blitz this Saturday 10th June in the Nab meeting at 10 o'clock.
Under 12 - Training this week Wednesday at 7.30 - 8.45pm.
Under 14 - Home tie versus Edendork this Tuesday at 7.15pm. Training Wednesday 7.15- 8.30pm and Saturday morning 12 -1.15pm.
Under 16 - Training Wednesday 7.30 - 8.30pm and Saturday morning 12 - 1.30pm.
Seniors - St Brenda's lost out to Middletown on a scoreline o 1:06 to 1:13. Next league fixture on Wednesday 07th June away to Tullysaran at 7pm.
COMMUNITY Crochet - Ballymacnab crochet class are having an exhibition of their work and afternoon tea in Ballymacnab hall on Sunday 11th June @ 4pm everyone welcome. Crochet Class in Ballymacnab Hall every Wednesday 7.30pm – 9.30pm. New members welcome.
Céilí - dancing every Thursday in Ballymacnab Hall 8.30pm – 10pm. New beginners welcome.
