The Reserves put in a spirited performance at home against Carrickcruppin last Thursday with two goals for the visitors proving to be the difference at the end of an entertaining 60 minutes. Ballymacnab made a positive start with scores from Gary McKee, Neil Gribben and Chris Kennedy before 'Cruppin responded to level the game. A Gareth Watters point on the 16th minute edged the 'Nab in front but the visitors hit 1-2 in quick succession to give them the lead. Further points were exchanged through Gareth Watters and Gary McKee to leave just three between the sides at the break. In the second half, Gary McKee almost single handily pulled the 'Nab back into the game with three points to level the game by the 42nd minute. Scores from Gareth Watters, Richard Gribben and Gary McKee against points from the opposition to left just two between the sides going into the closing stages. As the lads pushed on to get something out of the game it was the visitors who got the elusive goal and finished the game 2-13 to 0-14 to their advantage.
