Ballymacnab 1-08 Granemore 1-09

Granemore were the visitors to on Thursday evening to face our under 16s. Ballymacnab got off to a good start with points from Michael O'Hare and Finnén Maguire. Three points in quick succession from the visitors put a point between the sides but points from Oisin McGivern, Stephen King and Michael O'Hare and a goal from Finnén Maguire before the break left the score at 1-5 to 3 points. Granemore opened the scoring for the second half before Stephen King scored from the dead ball. Four consecutive points from Granemore left the minimum between the teams. Oisin McGivern split the posts before another free from Stephen King left the ‘Nab now three up. Granemore hit back with a pointed free and then were awarded a dubious penalty late in the game. The kick was converted and gave them a 1-9 to 1-8 win.
