Ballymacnab 0-08 Granemore 0-10

The Reserves took on the challenge of neighbours Granemore on Wednesday evening in their first tie in a number of weeks. Ballymacnab got off the mark first with a Brian McCone converted free followed by points from Dominic McParland and Damien McGeown. Then Granemore hit four points in quick succession to go ahead before a Marty O'Toole free levelled the game. Granemore added another before the break to leave them one up at the interval. Two pointed frees for the visitors at the beginning of the half increased their lead but Marty O'Toole hit back, again splitting the posts from the dead ball. A point for Granemore stretched the margin but this was short lived when Brian McCone levelled matters with three unanswered points. Both sides pushed hard to get a score that would probably win the tie and on this occasion it went the way of the visitors with two points to record the win.
