evening past for the first Under 16 league game of the year. Our team started
very brightly and had 2-06 on the board before Tullysaran registered their
first score on the 16th minute, the goals scored by Ryan Watters and
Conor O'Hanlon. Ballymacnab dominated the rest of the half with a another goal,
from corner forward Eoin Crilly who was making his U16 debut. The second half
was much more evenly contested with Tullysaran responding with a couple of three-pointers
but the result was never in doubt as 1-03 from Ryan Watters maintained the lead.
Conor Lynch finished the goal scoring for the evening with a good finish to a
great move. The management of Chris Loughran and Eugene Mackin will be pleased
with the victory and performance but will also be aware of sterner tests ahead. |
