Shane O’Neills 5-08 Ballymacnab 1-05

Our under 16 team travelled to Shane O'Neill's on Thursday past for their league tie. Oisin McGivern got the opening point before the home side scored a goal. Points from Stephen King and Stephen McGuigan levelled the sides but Shane O'Neill's then scored 2-1 in quick succession to leave the visitors trailing by seven points. An Oisin McGivern goal and  a point by Shane McClelland cut the margin to three before Shane O'Neill's got another point before the interval. A Stephen King point at the restart left a goal between the sides until Shane O'Neill's again stretched the lead to four. From this Shane O'Neill's took control of the game and ran out winners 5-08 to 1-05.
