BALLYMACNAB ROUND TOWERS GFC Newsletter – 04/12/2017



On Friday past, in conjunction with St Brenda's Camogie Club, we held our Annual Presentation Night. County Secretary, Paul Duggan, was the Guest of Honour on the night and spoke of the great GAA culture there was in Ballymacnab. Paul presented the Reserve side with their Championship medals. Congratulations to all individual award winners:

Under 16 Most Improved Player of the Year: Shane O'Hanlon

Under 16 Player of the Year: Paddy Hughes+Ryan Donnelly

Under 18 Player of the Year: Pearse Hughes

Under 21 Player of the Year: Shaun Casey

Reserve Player of the Year: Cormac Gribben

Clubperson of the Year: Nelius Boyle

The Annual General Meeting will take place in the Clubrooms on Thursday 7 December 2017 @8pm. Completed nomination and motion forms should be signed and returned to the Secretary on or before this date. This is the most important meeting of the year and gives you the member the opportunity to input your ideas on all aspects within the club. All members are invited to attend and new members warmly welcomed. All aspects of the Club Functions and future Club structures shall be discussed with some very significant motions to be debated. Find attached Nomination and Motion forms.

A Club draw is being run in conjunction with the Armagh County Board. Each Club have been given tickets. After the sale of the first 25 tickets, 80% of all other sale proceeds going towards our club and the balance to the County Board. The funds for the county board are going towards a new county training facility that was recently unveiled by the county board. Tickets are £100. Each ticket gets you entered into each of the four monthly draws. Payment plans are available, and tickets are available from committee members. Draw will take place over 4 months in February, March, April & May 2018. Top prize is a car in each of the four months along with 15 cash prizes each month ranging from £100 to £3,000. Further information on the draw is available from our draw co-ordinators Colin McKee and Nelius Boyle or any Committee Member. Tickets can also be purchased online via the Armagh GAA and you can nominate our Club. This draw forms part of our club fundraising to help sustain the running of your local club and your support in this regard is greatly appreciated.



The Football and Camogie Club are hosting a Gala Dinner in the Hillgrove Hotel on Saturday 10 March 2018 to celebrate Gaelic Games and Culture in the area.
