BALLYMACNAB ROUND TOWERS GFC Newsletter – 21/01/2019

Senior training resumes on  Friday night and we wish all players and management the best of good luck for the coming season. A number of challenge games will be held next month.

·         The Under 6, 8, 10 and 12 sides resumed their training on Saturday at St.Patrick’s Grammar School with great turnouts at all ages. Training continues this Saturday at the same venue and time:

Under 6+8 (P1-P4): 1pm-145pm

Under 10 (P5+P6): 145-245pm

Under12: (P7+1st Yrs): 245-355pm

We would ask all children to take £2 to help cover cost of the hall. Each child will receive a bottle of water and fruit after the session. All players are to be left into the hall and collected from the hall. Please use main school entrance, beside Cathedral.

·         Membership can also be paid on Saturday or online (see below). Please ensure all children are registered and parents contact numbers are forwarded to the coaches.

·         All children are asked to return their ‘Guess the Score Cards’ on Saturday also. All money collected will go towards getting each player their own football that they will take to training each week and take home with them.

Details for these teams shall hopefully be made available next week as we await confirmation on the age grades.

Due to a shortage of referees for this coming season, all clubs must provide a referee for U14 games (please note they will not be refereeing home games). They must be of 18years, male\female and be available of a Tuesday evening. They will be paid £25 per game. They will be appointed to games within a 10mile radius of their home club. They will receive training, uniform and the full support of the Minorboard.

Anyone interested are asked to contact any Committee Member
