Ballymacnab 4-08 Shane O’Neills 0-11

Ballymacnab minors continued their good start of the season when they accounted for Shane O’Neills at home on a score line of 4-08 to 0-09 on Monday evening. Ballymacnab were quick off the mark when Kieran Hughes hit the back of the net after just 4 minutes. Ballymacnab’s delight was doubled when from their next attack they hit the net again, this time the three pointer coming from Conor Murdoch. Two points each from Jack Grugan and Conor Murdoch gave the ‘Nab a six point lead at the interval. The Shane’s staged a mini revival with two unanswered points at the beginning of the second half but sort of come back was quashed when goals from Barry Livingstone and a second from Kieran Hughes on the 36th and 38th minutes secured a deserving victory.
