Our Seniors welcomed Forkhill to Pairc na Gael on Sunday for their latest League tie. On the day our boys were in fine form and secured another two points.

Ballymacnab got off to a dream start when half back James Gray found the net within the opening minute after linking well with Sean Lynch and Kieran Hughes. Brian McCone followed up with a point from a free before the visitors got off the mark with a converted free on the 3rd minute. Points from Jack Grugan (3) and James Gray increased the lead but four unanswered points for Forkhill reduced the deficit to three by the 18th minute. A minute later, Brian McCone's well struck shot was saved by the 'keeper but Kieran Hughes followed up the rebound to poke the ball to the net. Another Jack Grugan free left his side leading 2-6 to 0-5 at the break.

Forkhill got scoring proceedings under way in the second half with a pointed free on the 32nd minute but a Brendan Toner point a minute later cancelled out that score. Jack Grugan found the net on the 34th minute after some good play from Kieran Hughes. A point for Forkhill was quickly followed by a point from Ruairí Gribben. Kieran Hughes collected a second goal that was quickly followed by three pointer from Rory Grugan and Brian McCone to secure the victory.
