In a hugely entertaining game, filled with goals and quality points, Ballymacnab ran out deserving winners in this League tie against Pearse Og.

Ballymacnab ran into an early through points from Tony Gribben and Brendan Toner before the Ogs responded drawing level on the 9th minute. However, a goal from Marty O'Toole restored the lead. The Ogs responded with two points before the 'Nab found the net for the second time when Tony Gribben's shot caught the keeper unawares. Pearse Og took the lead once more through a number of points before Brendan Toner found the net to give his side a point lead at the interval.

A goal for the opposition in the early minutes saw the advantage swing to their advantage once more but a fourth goal, this time from substitute Stephen Kennedy levelled the game. The Ogs hit back immediately with a goal and a point but this proved to be their last score on 38th minute as Ballymacnab took control and points from Brendan Toner, Cormac Gribben, Tony Gribben and Declan McCone guided them to victory.
