Ballymacnab got back to winning ways with a hard fought victory at home to Harps on Sunday evening.

Ballymacnab were quick out of the scoring blocks with a point from Jack Grugan on the 1st minute and Pauric Gribben quickly followed with a fisted point two minutes later. Harps responded with their first point and followed up with a goal to take the lead. A converted Brian McCone free on the 10th minute reduced the deficit but a point for Harps was followed by a 17th minute goal from a determine Pauric Gribben. Harps hit back with two points before a Joe Gribben point levelled matters at 1-4 each at the break.

Harps got scoring proceedings under way with a 35th minute point and although they dominated much of the play in this period this was not reflected on the scoreboard as they came up against a stubborn 'Nab defence lead by full back Dominic McParland. Harps hit their last score on the 44th as the 'Nab got into their stride in a storming final quarter. Pointed frees from Jack Grugan (2) and Oisin McGivern now put the 'Nab in front and their lead was further extended when Ruairí Gribben found the top corner of the net on the 53rd minute and victory was secured with a third goal, this time from James Gray.

A solid victory performance with Dominic McParland, Michael Beagan, Pauric Gribben, Gary McKee and Ruairí Gribben excelling.
