The seniors got back to winning ways with a three point victory over St.Peter's on Friday evening at Pairc na Gael.

The game got off to a frantic start on the scoreboard with a point each for both side in less than two minutes, Ballymacnabs coming from a free from Jack Grugan. The visitors looked sharpest in the opening minutes and hit the front by the 7th minute with two points. A Rory Grugan point on the 11th minute reduced the deficit and two minutes later Rory had the ball in the net. Paudi Crilly began the move from a sideline kick to Gavin McParland and his pass set Rory Grugan up to finish off with a shot pass the 'keeper. From then the 'Nab began to dominate with Damian McGeown and Gary McKee ruling in the midfield berth and points from Damian McGeown, Brian McCone (2), Jack Grugan and Dominic McParland gave a commanding lead before a point for the visitors before the break left Ballymacnab leading 1-7 to 4 points.

A Jack Grugan free at the beginning of the second gave the 'Nab the perfect start for the half. St.Peter's responded with a pointed free but Rory Grugan contributed once again with a point on the 42nd minute. With Ballymacnab looking to close out the game, the game turned a different direction when St.Peter's converted a 44th minute penalty and followed up with another goal six minutes later to leave just one between the sides. However, points from Jack and Rory Grugan and Gavin McParland secured the victory and the two league points.
