Our Seniors suffered their first League defeat of the season, losing by 3 points away from home to Wolfe Tones.

Aided by a strong breeze, the 'Nab raced into a five point lead with points from Jack Grugan (2), Brian McCone (2) and Kieran Hughes. The home side registered their first scores with two converted frees by the 20th minute. Brendan Toner responded with a point a minute later. Points from Kieran Hughes and Jack Grugan in between two points for the home side left Ballymacnab leading 8-4 at the interval.

Wolfe Tones were quick off the mark at the beginning of the second half with 3 unanswered points but a point from James Gray on the 35th kept the 'Nab in front. However, this was short lived as a goal for Wolfe Tones closely followed. From then the home side began to get a better grasp of the game, scoring 4 unanswered points. Jack Grugan hit back with a goal on the 51st minute to give hope of a mini rival but two points for the opposition was followed by a second James Gray just before the final whistle with Wolfe Tones finished winners by 3 points.
